With spring here and the snow melting away, it’s hard to turn a blind eye to the litter and garbage that has been left behind. That’s why we’re encouraging you to get out and go plogging! If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a new activity where you pick up litter while out jogging. It originates from Sweden, combining the Swedish phrase ‘plocka upp’ and jogging. If going for a run isn’t your thing, you can also go ‘plalking,’ which is picking up litter while walking. (more…)

Happy New Year! Most people associate the New Year with a new, fresh start. Netflix launched “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” on January 1st and since then, the tidying craze has begun. Many of us have started to use the KonMari method as a way to clean up our home. Here are some tips on how to dispose of the items that no longer spark joy within you.

In Manitoba, when you see this symbol on your packaging, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s recyclable.
